Au Pairs

Since forming in Birmingham, in 1979, the Au Pairs have become known for catchy, dark and politically relevant songs with a biting sense of humor and angry delivery. The band's first album, Playing with a Different Sex, instantly became a post-punk classic after its release in 1981. Playing with a Different Sex is a powerful and controversial album, with acerbic takes on gender politics, sexuality, government and torture.
